Sacramento, CA — CFT – A Union of Educators and Classified Professionals announced today that its members voted to oppose Proposition 39 on the November ballot. Proposition 39 would create burdensome and unnecessary hurdles for voters in California, following President Trump’s playbook of attempting to silence the voices of millions of voters and influence the outcome of elections.

As the Trump administration continues its assault on the University of California, legislative budget leaders are standing strong in support of our nation’s premiere higher education system, rejecting the proposed 3% budget cuts to the UC system.
