AFL-CIO Quadrennial Convention
Unions affiliated with AFL-CIO now to convene in June 2022

As one labor movement, unionists will come together in Philadelphia to celebrate the strength of the AFL-CIO’s 56 affiliated unions and 12.5 million members and renew labor’s commitment to build back better with unions.

The AFL-CIO Quadrennial Convention was originally scheduled for October 3-6, 2021. However, to protect the health and safety of delegates and hold a safe, in-person event that supports union members and unionized businesses in Philadelphia, the AFL-CIO Executive Council voted to delay the 29th AFL-CIO Convention from October 2021 to June 2022.

The date for the Quadrennial Convention has now been set for June 12–15, 2022.
