Women's History Month, strong women of many ethnicities

Every year, March 8 is celebrated as International Women’s Day around the globe. While Women’s Day traces its history to feminist movements in Europe and America in the early 1900s, the day became mainstream after it was adopted by the United Nations in 1977.

The CFT has curated a special collection of resources for Women’s History Month. Educators can find hundreds of classroom resources. Unions, families, and communities can find art exhibits, podcasts and more.
