Airport Information
BY PLANE
- If you will be flying, you may choose San Francisco International Airport (SFO) or Oakland International Airport (OAK).
- SFO is closer being 12 miles from the hotel; OAK is 20 miles away. However, Southwest Airlines usually offers more flights into OAK.
- Public transportation is available through the Bay Area Rapid Transit, or BART.
- Taxis and rideshare are also available. Estimated fare is $55 one way.
About BART
- You can take BART to the hotel from either airport.
- You will exist BART at the Powell Street Station on Market Street. The Westin St. Francis is three blocks+ from the station, with a slight uphill.
Amtrak Information
BY TRAIN
- If you will be arriving by Amtrak, the nearest station is in Emeryville, located in the East Bay close to the eastern end of the Bay Bridge.
- The Emeryville Amtrak Station is 10 miles from the Westin St. Francis.
- You can take a taxi or rideshare across the Bay Bridge to San Francisco and the hotel. It’s about a 30-minute ride, depending upon the time of day. During westbound commute hours, the ride may be longer. Whatever the time of the day, you will be rewarded with panoramic views of the bay.
