As one labor movement, unionists will join together in Philadelphia to celebrate the strength of the AFL-CIO’s 56 affiliated unions and 12.5 million members and renew labor’s commitment to build back better with unions.

The AFL-CIO Quadrennial Convention was originally scheduled for October 3-6, 2021. However, to protect the health and safety of delegates during the pandemic and hold a safe, in-person event that supports union members and unionized businesses in Philadelphia, the AFL-CIO Executive Council voted to delay the Convention from October 2021 to June 2022.

The 29th AFL-CIO Quadrennial Convention will be held June 12–15 in Philadelphia.
