The Convention is the CFT’s highest governance body, where delegates shape union policy and positions on issues affecting all members. The biennial Convention is open to all CFT members, but only elected delegates can vote.
Under our theme United for Justice. United for Education, the biennial CFT Convention is scheduled for Friday, March 17 through Sunday, March 19, 2023, at the Westin St. Francis located on San Francisco’s downtown Union Square. Yes, we’re in person again!

The President, Secretary Treasurer, and Vice Presidents of the CFT will be elected, as will delegates to the AFT Convention and the California Labor Federation Convention. Division Councils will also elect officers.
