Sacramento, May 15 — CFT joined in support of Assemblyman Tom Torlakson's Assembly Joint Resolution 10, urging the repeal of the Social Security "Hero's Penalty." AJR 10 was passed off the Assembly Floor today.   

AJR 10 calls on Congress to keep its commitment to our teachers, law enforcement officers and firefighters by repealing two rules in current Social Security law that unfairly deny them retirement benefits they have paid for and earned throughout their careers - the "Hero's Penalty." View video.
