2004 CFT Convention

The annual California Federation of Teachers convention, the highest decision-making body of the statewide organization, was held March 19-21, 2004, at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Universal City.

The weekend's events brought together four hundred elected delegates from scores of locals around the state to make union policy for the coming year. For the statewide organization's highest decision-making body the substance of the event resided in the democratic discussions and floor debates that characterize a democratic union's work.
