Two recent organizational resolutions, one passed over the summer, and the other this month, demonstrate the support for quality pre-school and early childhood education by the labor movement in California. The first one placed the California Labor Federation, AFL-CIO, on record urging the state's government to provide adequate resources to early childhood education.  The second, adopted by the Alameda County Central Labor Council, does the same.  Each is based on the RAND study published earlier in the year.
