Educational Technology Committee

The purpose and goals of the CFT Educational Technology Committee are:

to monitor the emergence of educational technology (educational technology shall include but not be limited to the following: audio visual systems, computers including software, and communications systems) that has the potential of being used in education in order to formulate appropriate CFT policy and guidelines.
to review existing policy and to recommend CFT policy positions and statutes for appropriate legislative and regulatory agencies.
to develop and implement training programs for CFT locals and members whereby they can be prepared to make important decisions regarding the utilizations of technology in their schools and classrooms.
to provide information to the Federation through articles in CFT publications.
to develop workshops for CFT governance and training meetings.
