August 30, 2010 — CFT president Marty Hittelman joined students, teachers and parents at R. D. White Elementary School in Glendale at a rally called by the Education Coalition.  The purpose was to urge Legislators to adopt a state budget that honors California's commitment to quality education.  Also speaking at the rally were representatives of the local teachers, parents, students, the superintendent of the district, and State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jack O'Connell.  Jennifer Epstein photo
