WHAT'S NEW at CFT

May 1 - 2, 2006 in Sacramento

CFT joins with California Labor Federation in Conference, Lobbying

Labor's Joint Legislative Conference will be held this May 1st and 2nd at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Sacramento. Get the latest on labor's efforts to rebuild California's infrastructure, defend workers' rights, protect injured workers and much more.

CFT will host a Legislative Reception on Monday, May 1, 4:30 p.m. at the Sacramento CFT office, prior to the California Labor Federation AFL-CIO reception and dinner. Meet and greet the people we help elect to office and who need to hear from us about our issues. The CFT office is at 1127 11th Street, Suite 806.

NOTE: The Sheraton Grand Hotel is FULL. The CFT is now using the Holiday Inn-Capitol Plaza Hotel as our alternate hotel. The Holiday Inn-Capitol Plaza Hotel is located at 300 J Street. Please call 916-446-0100 to make your reservation.

When the primary election day rolls around on Tuesday June 6, the difference between victory and defeat will come down to how many of us care and decide to take action because we care. The first step is to be informed about the issues.
