Throughout the state, CFT members are responding to the governor's plan to solve the state's $16 billion budget deficit with cuts. In a state where education funding is 46th in the country, cuts are not acceptable. We must instead increase state revenues, that is, increase taxes. On this page you will find information about what CFT is doing to organize locally, in coalition with other groups, and through legislative advocacy to change the governor's mind and put public education on a more solid footing.
