At a Sacramento press conference on January 10, CFT EC/K-12 president Sue Westbrook (at mike) and CFT president Marty Hittelman blast the governor's proposed budget, which would devastate California's public schools. The CFT Early Childhood/K-12 Council is the policy-making body for the Early Childhood and K-12 segment of the California Federation of Teachers, comprised of the presidents of all the Federation's Early Childhood and K-12 locals.
