Come to the annual Council of Classified Employees conference,
"A Profession of Choice"

This year's CFT/CCE annual conference will be held at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in San Diego, on October 19-20. As usual, an exciting program will be offered to conference attendees, with something for everyone's interests.

Workshops will look at such topics as "Understanding Workers' Compensation," "Personnel Commission/Merit System," "Politics and Labor," "Know Your Rights," "Classified Power," "Your Personal Safety at Work," and more. Guest speakers will include CFT President Marty Hittelman, CFT Senior Vice President Laura Rico, and CFT Secretary Treasurer Dennis Smith, along with State Assembly candidate Marty Block, who is running for the 78th District seat.

But don't be fooled: it's not all work and seriousness. The CCE conference always features its share of fun, and this year will be no exception. Don't forget to attend the Friday night reception and party, with dessert, music and dancing!
