Make your voice heard at CFT Lobby Days on April 28-29

2013-Lobby-Day MG 2627

Make your voice heard at CFT Lobby Days on April 28-29

While the CFT legislative staff works hard promoting legislation on behalf of members, your presence in the halls of the Legislature gives a human face to the CFT and our fight for high-quality education. CFT Lobby Days provides you this opportunity to meet with state legislators one-on-one.

Lobby Days will begin on Monday evening at the Sheraton Grand Hotel Sacramento where registration commences at 4 p.m. A dinner meeting will follow at 5:30 p.m. to discuss the most pressing issues at that time, formulate strategies, and organize lobbying teams.

Tuesday kicks off with the CFT group picture at 8 a.m., immediately followed by a briefing in the Capitol before members fan out to meet with their legislators. Please plan to be in Sacramento the entire day so that your members can meet with as many legislators as possible. The best appointment times are often in the afternoon, so please make return plans for after 5 p.m.
